Mike Lawley BA MSc MSc UKCP MBACP

Integrative Psychotherapist, Counsellor, Supervisor and Trainer based in Hanwell, Ealing, West London

COVID: During the pandemic I am working online (Zoom, VSEE..) I do have free spaces to work with clients and supervisees. Please contact me to see how this might work for you.

The science of counselling and psychotherapy is now much more established and yet the way we work is an art form. Each individual is different and each counsellor is different giving a huge range of possibilities as to how the theories might be applied. My integrative practice, using humanistic, psychodynamic, attachment theory and CBT approaches, aims to bring the right approach to help you.

I am a qualified psychotherapist offering therapy/counselling (for the time being) to anywhere with an internet connection. When we return to post pandemic 'normal' I will be in Ealing, West London 5 minutes walk from Hanwell and Drayton Green stations and easily accessible from Paddington, Ealing Broadway, Southall and Greenford.

Counselling and Psychotherapy

I have been working in Ealing as a counsellor and psychotherapist with adults and young people for the last 30 years. As part of my practice I supervise and teach counsellors. Through my experience of working in private practice, Hounslow Youth Counselling Service, schools, prisons and a GP surgery I have experience of a range of concerns, including; relationship difficulties, anxiety, stress, depression, loss and bereavement, low self-esteem, childhood issues, feelings of isolation, little meaning or direction in life.

Confidentiality is most important in counselling and psychotherapy and I offer a safe environment where you can feel it is possible to work on any difficulties and concerns you wish to talk about

As a UKCP registered psychotherapist I ensure that I get supervision and support from colleagues for my work so that you can feel confident in our work together.
